Verbo was born in 2020, in a small apartment in Bogotá, Colombia.

At the time, a man working 12-hour days at a textile company heard something that would stay with him forever. One Monday morning, during a gathering where faith was part of the culture, someone began reading from the Word of God.

El Verbo.

That day, the word landed differently. It felt like identity. Like purpose. Like the name of something that didn’t exist yet — but someday would.

But dreams are rarely simple.

Life pulled them in different directions, and for a while, distance tested everything they had built together. Seasons changed. So did cities, routines, and certainty.

Still, they chose each other again.

✨ A new beginning.
✨ California.

They got married. They started over from nothing. And when fear, uncertainty, and the weight of building a future made everything feel impossible, they held onto the one thing that had always grounded them:

Verbo.

Verbo is more than a name.

In Spanish, “verbo” means verb — action.
But to us, it means something deeper.

El Verbo is the Word of God: the force that creates, moves, transforms, and gives life.

It is a reminder that faith without action means nothing.
